The Lateral Supports are designed to be attached by two poppers (one at the waist strap and one to the side frame). If both poppers are fitted then the pushchair cannot be folded without first removing the Lateral Supports. However if the Lateral Supports are fitted only with the poppers to the side frame then they can be turned out to the sides allowing the pushchair to be folded.
